About a week and a half ago on IRC I was talking about getting a Mikucar. Why? Because it's Miku and twintails are superior. Building an RC car should be a lot of fun too, so why not? The stuff finally came in today along with something else I had on pre-order for several months.

So, let's recap what I bought so far:
SO, first and foremost, I'd like to commend the mailwoman who delivered my stuff in -30C weather. Not only that but she knocked on my door instead of the other prick who left my Dengeki Daioh at the post office and slipped a "you didn't answer the door" card under my door when I was watching TV not 4 feet away.
That being said, let's move on to the actual unboxing of my stuff. I must say RCmart packed everything throughly and rather carefully. I mean, it's no Japanese packing with FF10 rice paper as padding but who cares I'm going to throw that shit away anyway.
First come the chinaman rope with impossible knots. I tried to undo them but after 30 seconds I gave up and just used the utility knife.
After opening the box there's enough bubble wrap to keep any kid happy for the next 2 days.
First thing to come out is the ESC, batteries, and charger, then the bodies and kit stood beside each other on the bottom.

- Futaba 2.4Ghz radio
- Futaba S3004 servo (because S3003 was out of stock)
- Tamiya Hatsune Miku BMW Z4 1/10 Kit
- Tamiya Cusco Dunlop Impreza Body x 2
- Yeah Racing Ultimate Brainpower ESC 35A with 10T Brushless Motor
- Extreme Li-Po Balance Charger
- Yeah Racing Li-Po Battery Pack x 2
- Lexan Cutters
- Lexan Body Reamer (dual purpose for stabbing my friends if they touch my stuff)

As it says on the box, the batteries are 3200mAh each, which I don't know how long each should last. On the left I got a high speed fan, which was a bonus that came with the ESC next to it.

The motor and ESC is as I said above, which was 10T and 35A, respectively. SSJ says it should be plenty fast, so I'll just believe him on that.

The charger's brand is Extreme, and it's gotten good reviews on RCmart so I'll give it a shot. It was only 40 dollars and it can charge nimh as well. The charging bag came with the batteries as a bonus and it's supposed to stop the batteries catch fire with the rest of the house in case it explodes.... right.
Before I continue to the actual bodies this is the radio kit and servo I bought last week. It's a 2.4Ghz radio and comes with 1 receiver. An extra receiver costs $70 by itself. The servo is a typical ball-bearing S3004, which is the same speed as the S3003 but the 3 is brushed.
Now I actually didn't know the item included two bodies, so now I have one for fucking around with and the other for driving in. The last thing I want to do is use the Miku shell for driving, that'll just scratch it.
And finally we have the Mikucar itself. The box was actually bigger than I imagined, but that's pretty good. $150 really does seem cheap when it shows up and you actually looked at the size of it (inb4 that's what she said).
So, now to get paint and start putting shit together...

Bonus
This was what was in the other box.
