I'm waiting for spring before I start painting. It's too cold to do anything in the garage and the fumes will just collect in the basement.

Okay, after last night's charging faggotry I need to make up for lost time. Luckily overnight my nose stuffed up and I almost choked to death in my sleep, then prompting me to wake up at 6:30 in the morning with no chance to get back in bed. So, a good headstart to building the car.

Look, I know the recession has hit everyone badly, but you'd think a charger would come with its own power supply. That extreme charger I ordered? Nope. It came with the charger, which is all nice and all, but it DOESN'T HAVE ANY OF THE CABLES I NEED TO USE IT. Let's start with getting power to the damn thing. It ships with an AC adaptor to... alligator plugs? What the fuck is this shit. Give me a giant brick on the other end with a plug on it! Then come plugging the battery into it... oh great, it came with all these attachments but NONE OF THEM FIT MY BATTERY! So, after 2 hours of scavenging for alternatives, here's what I've come up with:

Continuing on with Day 1 of festivities, it's time to cut my first car. Is it the mikucar? No way. Since I got two Impreza shells to work with I'll practice on both before putting the blade to the BMW.

About a week and a half ago on IRC I was talking about getting a Mikucar. Why? Because it's Miku and twintails are superior. Building an RC car should be a lot of fun too, so why not? The stuff finally came in today along with something else I had on pre-order for several months.

Yep, it's that time again, kids!

Core services are being upgraded this time. New MySQL! New Apache! New Syslog! New Amavisd (oh so desperately needed)!

The server will be undergoing maintenance on July 31, 2009 at 12am-6am MST (UTC -6). The server will be unavailable at this time.

This is going to be fun:
- Web server
- PHP
- Trac
- Admin apps
- E-mail clients
- Subversion

Server maintenance will be performed on the server on Monday, March 9 at 12:01AM to 6:00AM. The following services will be interrupted:

- Web
- SVN
- FTP

OK, so a lot of stuff is getting upgraded, and a lot of stuff is going to break. Mark your calendars, people, August 25 and 26 is when it's going to take place. Cross fingers and hope the server makes it.
